Press Kit
Plate & Page is a private recipe keeper and meal planner for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Save recipes from websites, pasted text, or photos of printed pages, review every import before it is saved, plan the week, build an aisle-sorted grocery list, and cook one clear step at a time. Recipes stay on your devices and in your own iCloud: there is no account, no ads, no tracking, and no subscription.

Key features
- Reviewed imports. Bring in recipes from websites, the share sheet, pasted text, up to eight photos of printed recipes (recognized on device), or .platepage files. Every import opens as an editable draft.
- Scaling and unit conversion. Scale servings and show recipes in metric, US, or imperial units, with cups-to-grams conversion from a bundled ingredient-density table.
- Cooking Mode. One step at a time in large type, resumes where you left off, and keeps the screen awake. On iPhone and iPad, optional on-device voice commands move between steps.
- Weekly meal planning (Premium). Drag recipes into breakfast, lunch, dinner, or other slots and build one combined, aisle-sorted grocery list from the week.
- Folders and on-device organization (Premium). Manual folders plus suggested course categories that you review before anything is filed.
- Cooking timers and household sharing (Premium). Timers stay visible across the app; a shared household collaborates on recipes, plans, and groceries through Apple’s iCloud invitations.
- Native on every screen. A three-column layout on iPad and Mac, Mac keyboard shortcuts, and share extensions on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
- Private by design. On supported devices, Apple Intelligence drafting and organization run on device, and AI-drafted content is labeled for review. The developer operates no data server, and the app has no analytics or tracking.
Free edition: three starter recipes, five recipes you create, three reviewed imports, scaling, unit conversion, a manual grocery list, export, iCloud sync, and Cooking Mode including voice. Premium removes the limits and unlocks meal planning, smart grocery building, folders and organization, cooking timers, and household sharing.
